Grade 5

Dear Parents/Guardians,

During 15th until 17th May, the Grade 5 students participated in the NAPLAN tests. NAPLAN tests a child’s skills in literacy and numeracy that are developed over time, throughout their schooling. It is important to remember that it doesn’t always reflect perfectly what your child is actually capable of achieving. Further, many students can demonstrate their skills and understanding in other ways, not just via pen and paper. Overall, I would like to congratulate all my students and their parents/guardians for their efforts, patience and hard work during this time.

Just a few friendly reminders:

• Please return any notes/permission slips sent home prior to the due-date.
• Please monitor the amount of time and activities students participate in, on various consoles and online.
